I didn’t grow up surrounded by luxury.
I grew up surrounded by pressure—overdue bills stacking up, mama grinding through double shifts, nights lit by candles when the lights got cut off, and pride swallowed just to make it to the next day.

The name Genkai didn’t come from strength—it came from hitting limits. Again and again. I’d climb, fall, get laughed at, get dismissed. But no matter how hard I hit the ground, something in me refused to stay there.

One night, sitting on the floor of an empty room—no bed, no chair, just me and a notebook—I started sketching. A pair of sneakers appeared on the page. Not the life I had, but the life I wanted. Clean lines. Bold stitching. A logo that didn’t just look good—it meant something. It meant resistance.

That was the moment I told myself:
“I’m not just making clothes. I’m designing a way out.”

So, I named it Genkai4110.
Genkai: the limit.
4110: the code of my block.
Together, my story—my struggle, my truth.
